The Hereford Mavericks Basketball Club now have several different teams covering all age ranges, 11 year olds and upwards to Senior level. Any new players interested in joining are welcome - please contact Steve Farmer, details are on the Contacts page of the website.

Match times/ venue Home matches for the Mavs for the season 11/12 will be at Whitecross High School and Specialist Sports College on Monday nights. Tip off time is at 8.15pm. For details on directions to the venue please view the map on our Contacts page. Anyone is welcome to come and watch the Mavs home matches, however if you are thinking of bringing a party of people to come and watch the match, please could you contact us so that we can make the necessary arrangements. |
Who can play for the Hereford Mavericks We welcome all hardworking players who are genuinely ambitious to play successfully at Gloucestershire League level or beyond, regardless of previous experience. If you would like to come along to a training session please find details of how to do so on our Contacts page. We welcome junior players of any level to come and join in junior training sessions. No matter if you have played for a school or club team or if you have never played competitive basketball. Training at junior level is split into three different squads, Under 12's (players aged 10-12 years old), Under 14's (players aged 12-14 years old), Under 16's (players aged 14- 16 years old) and Under 21's.
